.Raw Material Melting & Ingot CastingHigh‑purity nickel, chromium, molybdenum and iron are proportioned according to UNS N06002 chemical composition. Vacuum induction melting and electroslag remelting are adopted to ensure low impurity content and uniform internal structure. Each heat receives composition analysis to confirm compliance with ASTM B435 standard.
.Hot Rolling BreakdownQualified ingots are heated to proper temperature and hot‑rolled into thick slabs. Multiple hot rolling passes gradually reduce thickness and refine internal grain structure. Hot‑rolled slabs serve as semi‑finished blanks for subsequent cold rolling procedure.
.Cold Rolling ReductionHot‑rolled slabs are fed into cold rolling mills for multi‑pass cold rolling. Thickness is precisely reduced from slab down to 0.05‑3.0 mm finished dimension. Rolling force and speed are strictly controlled to guarantee uniform thickness tolerance and consistent surface quality across the whole coil.
.Solution Annealing TreatmentCold‑rolled strip coils go through continuous bright annealing furnace under protective atmosphere. Solution annealing at proper temperature eliminates work hardening, restores ductility and achieves soft annealed status, making the strip ready for stamping and deep‑drawing applications.
.Slitting & Edge TrimmingAnnealed wide coils are slit on precision slitting machines to required width from 2 mm to 500 mm. Slit edge or mill edge options are available. Burrs on cut edges are removed to ensure clean and smooth edge condition for downstream processing.
.Surface Inspection & Quality ControlEvery coil passes full surface visual inspection and dimensional verification. Surface defects such as scratches, pits and oxidation spots are sorted out. Thickness and width tolerance are measured at multiple points to meet ASTM B435 specifications.
.Mechanical Property & Composition TestingSamples are taken from each batch for tensile strength test, yield strength test and hardness test. Spectral analysis verifies chemical composition of nickel, chromium, molybdenum and iron. Only qualified coils are released for delivery.
.Anti‑rust Packing & Export PreparationFinished strip coils are wrapped with anti‑rust paper and moisture‑barrier film, then packed in wooden crates or pallets. Each package marks alloy grade, UNS number, dimensions, batch number and net weight, fully prepared for overseas bulk shipment.
