.Raw Material Selection & InspectionWe select grade 10 304 stainless steel bar stock as raw material. Each batch undergoes strict incoming inspection, including material composition check, hardness test and surface appearance examination. Unqualified steel bars will be rejected to guarantee base‑material performance before production.
.Cutting to Required LengthAccording to customer order specifications, steel bars are cut by automatic cutting machines. We precisely cut blanks within the length range of 20‑150 mm. Burrs on two end faces are removed in this step to avoid defects for subsequent threading work.
.Shank Turning MachiningThe cut blanks go through CNC lathe turning. The middle section is processed into smooth plain shank, while outer diameter is machined to match standard thread size from M3 to M45. This procedure ensures concentricity of the whole stud for stable assembly performance.
.Double‑end Thread RollingBoth ends of the workpiece are sent to thread‑rolling machines for thread forming. Thread rolling creates high‑strength threads without cutting metal fibers. Thread precision strictly follows DIN938 and GB901 standards to ensure good fit with matching nuts.
.Deburring & Surface FinishingAfter thread rolling, all sharp edges and thread burrs are cleaned. The 304 stainless steel studs get natural bright surface finish without extra plating. Surface scratches and metal chips are fully cleared.
.Quality InspectionFinished studs go through multi‑item inspection: thread gauge check, dimension measurement, strength sampling test and visual appearance screening. Defective items like incomplete threads or dimensional deviation will be sorted out.
.Cleaning & PackingQualified products are cleaned to remove oil and dust. Goods are packed in anti‑rust plastic bags and cartons. Labels mark size, material and grade information for easy identification for bulk export shipments.
