Carbon Steel A105 introduction
ASTM A105 (UNS K03504) is carbon steel for piping forgings. It works within temperature from -29℃ to 425℃ with excellent forgeability and weldability. Commonly manufactured into Threadolet, Sockolet, hex bushing and other socket & threaded fittings.Normalized A105N is available. Widely used in steam, oil and natural gas pipeline projects, complying with ASME B16.11, MSS SP-97standards.
Concrete Nail Introduction
Concrete nails, also named masonry nails, are heavy-duty hardened carbon steel fasteners specially manufactured for fixing objects onto hard substrates including concrete, brick, cinder block and stone wall.Made of 45# high carbon steel (AISI 1045 / S45C / EN 1.0503) with quenching heat treatment, they reach high hardness above HRC 50,effectively avoiding bending, breaking or cracking during hammer driving.Most of our concrete nails adopt electro-galvanized surface coating for excellent rust and corrosion resistance. Equipped with diamond sharp point and two optional shank types (smooth shank & ring fluted shank), the ring knurled shank greatly increases friction and pull-out resistance inside masonry, delivering firm and long-lasting fixing performance.Widely applied in construction, decoration, home renovation, sign mounting, wood & metal fixture installation on concrete walls and floors.

Concrete Nail Product Processing
1.Raw Material Preparation:Raw material: 45# high carbon steel wire rod (AISI 1045, S45C, EN 1.0503) Inspect steel wire surface for cracks, rust and dimensional tolerance Straighten coiled steel wire to ensure uniform feeding for subsequent cutting.
2. Wire Drawing & Cold Heading:Multi-pass wire drawing: Reduce wire diameter to the required finished nail diameter
Automatic nail making machine: * Cut steel wire into fixed length according to nail size.Cold forge round nail head on one end.Mold diamond sharp point on the other end Output: Semi-finished black bare concrete nail blank.
3. Heat Treatment (Core Process for Hardness):Concrete nails must be quenched to get high hardness for penetrating concrete.High-frequency induction heating: Heat nail body to quenching temperature.Rapid liquid quenching to harden the nail.Low-temperature tempering: Eliminate internal stress, avoid brittle fracture during hammering.Finished hardness reaches HRC 50–55, anti-bending and anti-breaking.
4. Surface Galvanizing Treatment:Adopt Electro Galvanizing (the coating you selected in the backend)Degreasing and pickling: Remove oil, oxide and rust from nail surface.Electroplating zinc layer on the surface Passivation & drying: Enhance anti-corrosion and rust-proof performance.Alternative: Black oxide finish for non-corrosion sensitive indoor use
5. Sorting, Polishing & Inspection:Vibratory polishing: Remove burrs, sharp edges and galvanizing residues Automatic sorting machine: Separate defective products (bent nails, cracked heads, blunt points) Manual random inspection: Check dimension, hardness, zinc coating thickness and sharpness
6. Counting & Packaging:Automatic counting machine weighs and counts nails into small boxes.Outer carton packing with product label (size, material, quantity, specification)Stack and palletize for sea transportation.
