316L Introduce
Grade 316 is the standard molybdenum-bearing grade, second in importance to 304 amongst the austenitic stainless steels. The molybdenum gives 316 better overall corrosion resistant properties than Grade 304, particularly higher resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride environments.Grade 316L, the low carbon version of 316 and is immune from sensitization (grain boundary carbide precipitation). Thus it is extensively used in heavy gauge welded components (over about 6mm). There is commonly no appreciable price difference between 316 and 316L stainless steel.
The austenitic structure also gives these grades excellent toughness, even down to cryogenic temperatures.Compared to
chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steels, 316L stainless steel offers higher creep, stress to rupture and tensile strength at elevated temperatures.

Octangle Ring Joint Gasket Introduce
Ring joint gasket is a solid metal sealing element manufactured by CNC precision machining, available in octagonal
and oval profiles. It is designed for ring-joint face (RJ) flanges under high pressure and high temperature working conditions.Made from solid forged metal, the gasket fits tightly into the trapezoidal groove of RJ flange. Sealing is achieved by plastic deformation of the metal surface under bolt tightening load.Common materials include 10# soft iron, SS304, SS316L, F5, F11, F22, Hastelloy and Duplex stainless steel. It complies with ASME B16.20 and API 6A standards.

1.Raw Material Inspection:Forged solid metal bar or pipe is received and verified with MTR certificate. Chemical composition and mechanical property test are carried out to ensure compliance with ASTM standards, such as UNS S31603 (316L), 10# soft iron, F22 etc. Unqualified raw materials will be rejected.
2.Cutting & Rough Machining:Raw metal material is cut into required ring blanks according to drawing size. Lathe rough turning removes excess allowance to form preliminary ring shape, reserving proper machining tolerance for finish processing.
3.CNC Precision Finishing:CNC lathe performs finish turning for inner diameter, outer diameter, pitch diameter and sealing profile (octagonal or oval cross-section). Strict tolerance control guarantees perfect fitting with RJ flange trapezoidal groove. Surface finish meets industrial sealing requirement.
4.Marking:Standard marking is engraved on the gasket outer surface, including material grade, size code (R / RX / BX), standard (ASME B16.20) and manufacturer logo.
5.Dimension Inspection & Visual Check:QC inspects all key dimensions with calipers and micrometers. Check surface for scratches, cracks, pits or deformation which may affect sealing performance.
6.Surface Treatment & Packing:Deburr and clean the finished ring gasket to remove oil and metal chips. Anti-rust oil is applied for carbon steel and alloy materials. Each gasket is packed separately with anti-rust paper, then put into carton or wooden case for export transportation.
