C12200 introduction
UNS numbers C10100 to C13000 represent commercially pure copper. The high electrical and thermal conductivity in addition to good corrosion resistance determine the use of pure copper. Alloying of copper interferes with the electrical conductivity of the metal which signifies the importance of its purity. Behavior of different grades of unalloyed copper varies in the amount of impurities present in the metal.
180 Degree Copper Elbow Introduction
Our 180 degree copper elbow (also called copper return bend / U bend) is wrought pressed from ASTM C12200 / TP2 CU-DHP deoxidized seamless copper tube instead of casting.It adopts socket solder ends on both sides for brazing connection. With polished bright surface, stable wall thickness and good ductility, it features excellent corrosion resistance and reliable sealing after welding.This copper fitting is widely applied in refrigeration, air conditioning, HVAC and plumbing piping systems to achieve 180°pipeline return and fluid circulation. Each piece goes through strict dimensional inspection and air tightness testing to guarantee stable performance for long-term operation.

180 Degree Copper Elbow Product Processing
1.Raw Material Preparation:
Select ASTM C12200 / TP2 CU-DHP seamless copper tube. Raw material inspection covers outer diameter, wall thickness and chemical composition to meet HVAC refrigeration standards.
2.Cutting:
Cut seamless copper tubes into fixed lengths according to finished drawing specifications.
3.Annealing Softening:
Carry out stress relief annealing to improve copper ductility and prevent cracking during bending and socket forming.
4.Hydraulic Bending & Socket Forming:
Adopt wrought hydraulic forming process (NOT casting). Bend the tube into 180° U shape first, then press both ends to form socket solder cups for brazing connection.
5.Deburring & Internal Cleaning:
Remove inner and outer burrs, flush away cutting oil and oxide residue to avoid pipeline blockage in refrigeration systems.
6.Bright Polishing:
Surface polishing treatment to obtain smooth bright copper finish.
7.Secondary Stress Relief Annealing:
Eliminate processing stress and stabilize the finished structure.
8.Inspection & Testing:
Complete dimensional tolerance check, visual appearance inspection and air tightness test one by one.
9.Packaging:
Qualified products are packed separately to prevent scratching and oxidation during storage and transportation.
