C12200 introduction
UNS numbers C10100 to C13000 represent commercially pure copper. The high electrical and thermal conductivity in addition to good corrosion resistance determine the use of pure copper. Alloying of copper interferes with the electrical conductivity of the metal which signifies the importance of its purity. Behavior of different grades of unalloyed copper varies in the amount of impurities present in the metal.

Our copper elbow is wrought from ASTM C12200 / TP2 CU-DHP deoxidized copper, manufactured by pressing and forming without casting.It features bright polished surface, stable wall thickness and excellent ductility.Designed for solder connection, this 90° copper solder elbow is widely used in air conditioning, refrigeration and plumbing piping

90 Degree Copper Elbow Product Processing
1.Raw Material Preparation:
Adopt ASTM C12200 / TP2 CU-DHP seamless copper tube as raw material, inspect pipe OD, wall thickness and material composition before production.
2.Cutting:
Cut copper tubes into fixed lengths according to finished size requirements.
3.Annealing:
Softening annealing treatment to improve ductility for subsequent forming, avoid cracking during processing.
4.Hydraulic Forming & Bending:
Use hydraulic press to form socket cup end, then bend into 90° elbow shape. Whole process is wrought pressing, not casting.
5.Deburring & Cleaning:
Remove burrs on inner and outer surfaces, clean oil and oxide residue.
6.Bright Polishing:
Surface polishing to achieve smooth bright copper finish.
7.Heat Treatment:
Secondary stress-relief annealing to stabilize structure.
8.Inspection & Testing:
Dimensional check, visual appearance inspection and air tightness test.
9.Packaging:
Qualified products are packed to prevent scratch and oxidation during transportation.
