The three-way fitting, also known as the three-way pipe fitting or three-way pipe component, three-way connector, etc. It is
mainly used to change the direction of the fluid and is installed at the point where the main pipeline needs to branch off. It can be classified according to the pipe diameter. Generally, it is made of carbon steel, cast steel, alloy steel, stainless steel,
copper, aluminum alloy, plastic, asbestos felt, PVC, etc. According to the connection form, it can be divided into: 1.Butt-welded three-way fitting: It refers to the three-way pipe fitting that is welded after being connected with the connecting pipe fittings.
2. Socket-type three-way pipe fittings: These are pipe fittings where the connecting pipe pieces are inserted into each end of the three-way pipe and then welded or fused together.
3. Socket-type three-way fitting: This is a type of three-way pipe fitting where each end is a socket joint. The pipe fittings are inserted into the sockets and then tightened.
4. Threaded Three-way Pipe Fittings: Three-way pipe fittings that are connected by threads.
By material classification
It can be classified into stainless steel three-way valves, carbon steel three-way valves, copper three-way valves, PVC three-way valves, ductile iron three-way valves, etc.
According to the form of branch pipes
1. Straight three-way fitting: It is a pipe fitting where the branch pipe is perpendicular to the main pipe.
2. Inclined Three-way: This refers to a three-way pipe fitting where the branch pipe forms a certain angle with the main pipe.
