718 Threaded Hex Head Plug Produce Processing
Cut qualified bar stock to required length, conduct dimensional and material hardness inspection to ensure compliance with standard material grades.
Machine the plug outer diameter, face and hexagon head shape by lathe processing, guarantee flat head surface and regular hexagonal size.
3.Thread Machining
Precision thread turning according to standard thread specification (NPT/BSPP/BSPT), ensure thread pitch, tooth shape and tight tolerance without burrs.
4.Deburring & Surface Finishing
Remove all sharp edges, burrs and tool marks on head, thread and end face to achieve smooth surface and avoid assembly scratch.
5.Heat Treatment (If Required)
Perform quenching and tempering treatment for high-pressure plugs to improve hardness, toughness and pressure resistance.
6.Final Inspection & Surface Treatment & Packaging
Check thread accuracy, overall dimension, surface defect and pressure resistance; then do galvanization/black oxide finishing, finally pack with standard export packaging.
