Adopt C10200 oxygen-free copper coil / copper sheet as raw material. Check the mill test report, chemical composition and mechanical performance data. Conduct on-site spectrum testing to confirm the copper purity meets C10200 standard. Inspect the thickness consistency of the copper material, and visually check the surface for oxidation spots, scratches, pits, cracks and roll marks. Unqualified raw materials shall be isolated and returned. Only qualified copper stock can be put into the stamping process.
2.Stamping & Blanking:
Install the precision blanking die on the high-speed punch press. Continuously feed the qualified copper coil or sheet into the stamping station. Finish blanking and inner hole punching in one stroke to form flat washer blanks. Strictly control the tolerance of inner diameter, outer diameter and thickness according to customer drawings or relevant standards. Adjust stamping pressure and feeding speed to prevent workpiece warping, deformation and edge tearing. Check die wear regularly during mass production to ensure stable dimensional accuracy.
3.Deburring & Edge Finishing:
Put the stamped washer blanks into the vibratory finishing machine with ceramic grinding media for tumbling deburring. Remove sharp burrs and flash formed on the cutting edge during stamping. Control the tumbling time reasonably to avoid excessive abrasion and size reduction. After tumbling, screen and separate washers from abrasives. Carry out spot inspection to ensure smooth edges without sharp corners that may damage mating parts.
4.Stress Relief Annealing:
Place washers that need good softness and flatness into the protective atmosphere annealing furnace. Heat up to the specified temperature and keep warm for a certain period to eliminate residual stamping stress, improve the ductility of C10200 copper and reduce the risk of later deformation. Slow cooling is adopted to avoid rapid cooling oxidation and water marks. Random sampling hardness test is performed after cooling to meet the required soft state.
5.Ultrasonic Cleaning & Anti-Tarnish Treatment:
Load the deburred washers into the ultrasonic cleaning tank with degreasing solution to fully remove stamping oil, metal powder and surface contaminants. Rinse with deionized water and dry with clean hot air immediately to prevent water stain oxidation. If required, perform anti-tarnish passivation treatment to form an ultra-thin protective film on the copper surface, slowing down discoloration and improving oxidation resistance. Conduct full visual surface check after drying.
6.Final Inspection & Packaging:
Perform batch sampling and full appearance inspection. Use calipers and micrometers to verify outer diameter, inner diameter, thickness and flatness. Sort out defective products for rework or scrapping. Mark batch number, material grade and specification as requested. Pack qualified C10200 copper flat washers into sealed plastic bags with desiccant to prevent oxidation, then pack into export cartons with product labels and shipping marks for warehousing and shipment.
