We use 304 stainless steel solid bar as raw material. Each batch receives strict incoming inspection, including spectral composition test, hardness and mechanical property test, surface visual inspection for cracks, inclusions, scratches and pits, and dimensional verification of the steel bar. Any unqualified stock is isolated and returned to supplier. Only qualified 304 stainless steel bars can enter the production process.
2.CNC Turning Machining:
The steel bar is fixed on precision CNC lathe. The machine processes the three-way main body, including inner flow channel, ferrule sealing cone surface, thread section and outer contour. Strictly control the coaxiality of three ports, the angle of the sealing cone, thread pitch and tolerance, inner hole roughness and flow channel smoothness, to avoid burrs, taper deviation and dimensional out-of-tolerance which will affect sealing performance.
3.Separated Parts Machining:
Process supporting nuts and ferrules separately. Nuts are turned to form internal thread and pressing end face; ferrules are machined to get front cutting edge, rear conical surface and inner hole. Every key sealing surface is finished with fine turning to guarantee matching precision with the tee body.
4.Deburring & Precision Cleaning:
Remove burrs on flow channel, thread, cone sealing surface and ferrule cutting edge by manual trimming and ultrasonic vibration tumbling. Then all components are sent to ultrasonic cleaning tank to remove cutting oil, metal chips and dust inside holes and threads. After cleaning, use dry filtered compressed air to fully dry all parts, no residual oil, water or debris left, which is critical for high-pressure sealing.
5.Pre-assembly & Performance Spot Check:
Carry out trial assembly of tee body, ferrules and nuts to verify thread fit, ferrule compression action and contact fit of sealing cone. Random sampling for hydraulic pressure test to check leakage under rated working pressure. Parts with thread jamming, poor fit or pressure leakage are rejected.
6.Final Inspection & Packaging:
Full sampling inspection for overall dimension, thread quality, surface finish, sealing cone condition and marking. Qualified fittings are sorted and packed into anti-scratch plastic bags, then packed into export cartons. Each carton is labeled with material grade, specification, batch number, quantity and inspection mark for storage and shipment.
