HASTELLOY(r) C276 is a wrought corrosion-resistant alloy that resists the development of grain boundary precipitates that degrade corrosion resistance.

Spectacle Blind Flange, also known as figure8 blind, is a safety fitting for positive fluid isolation in piping systems. It adopts a figure8 structure, integrating a solid blind disc and a flow spacer ring connected by a web, and is installed between two mating flanges.

The working status can be switched by rotation. When the solid blind disc is placed in the sealing position, the pipeline is fully blocked for reliable isolation. When the spacer ring is rotated into position, the medium can flow normally. The idle part stays outside the flange joint, so the pipeline status is visually identifiable for on-site operators.

It provides more dependable isolation than valves without the risk of internal leakage. It is manufactured in accordance with ASME B16.48 standard, available with multiple sealing faces such as raised face and ring type joint, and covers a wide range of pressure classes.

Made of nickel alloy, it features outstanding corrosion resistance and hightemperature strength. It is widely used in chemical, oil & gas, offshore platforms and other working conditions, especially for pipelines requiring frequent maintenance and definite physical isolation.

1. Raw Material InspectionVerify the nickel alloy raw material, carry out visual inspection and non-destructive testing, check the heat number, confirm chemical composition and mechanical properties meet technical requirements, mark and isolate the material.

2. Cutting & BlankingCut the plate according to drawing dimensions with sufficient machining allowance. Check shape and dimension after cutting, and remove cutting burrs.

3. Forging FormingForm by forging process, control forging temperature and deformation to obtain dense internal structure and eliminate internal defects. Conduct preliminary visual inspection after forming.

4. Heat TreatmentPerform heat treatment in accordance with nickel alloy process requirements to relieve forging stress, optimize metallographic structure and stabilize mechanical properties.

5. Rough MachiningRough machine the outline, sealing face and bolt hole positions on CNC lathe, leave finishing allowance and remove most excess material.

6. Finish MachiningFinish machine sealing face, thickness, outline and bolt holes. Strictly control flatness, surface roughness and dimensional tolerances to ensure sealing face accuracy complies with standards.

7. Surface TreatmentRemove machining tool marks and oil stains, apply surface protection as required to prevent oxidation and impact damage.

8. Non-Destructive TestingConduct non-destructive testing as per drawing requirements to detect internal and surface defects such as cracks and laminations, and issue inspection records.

9. Final Dimensional InspectionRecheck all dimensions including shape, thickness, sealing face size and bolt hole position tolerance, verify item by item against drawings and standards.

10. Marking & StampingStamp information such as specification, pressure class, heat number, material and standard at designated positions, ensure clear and durable marking.11. Packaging & WarehousingProtect and pack separately to avoid damage to sealing face. Attach material certificates and inspection reports, then store in warehouse by classification.
