Super alloys or high performance alloys are available in a variety of shapes and contain elements in different combinations to obtain a specific result. HASTELLOY(r) C276 is a wrought corrosion-resistant alloy that resists the development of grain boundary precipitates that degrade corrosion resistance.

Hex bolt is the most common fastener used for flange connection in piping systems. It consists of a hexagon head and a threaded shank, normally used together with nuts and gaskets to clamp two mating flanges tightly and achieve sealing connection.

The hex head allows easy torque application with wrenches during installation. It provides uniform and stable clamping force and can withstand tensile and alternating loads, suitable for high-pressure piping service. It is manufactured in accordance with relevant fastener standards, with a wide range of sizes matching different flange pressure classes.

Made of nickel alloy, it has excellent corrosion resistance and high-temperature strength. It resists stress corrosion and creep failure under high-temperature and corrosive service conditions. It is widely used for flange fastening in chemical, oil & gas and offshore platforms to maintain reliable long-term flange sealing.

1. Raw Material InspectionVerify the nickel alloy raw material, carry out visual inspection and non-destructive testing, check the heat number, confirm chemical composition and mechanical properties meet specifications, mark and isolate the material.

2. Cutting to LengthCut the bar stock to required length according to drawings with machining allowance. Check segment length and end face after cutting, remove burrs.

3. Cold Heading / Hot Heading FormingForm the hexagon head by heading process. Control forming temperature and deformation parameters to ensure full-shaped hex head free of cracks and laps. Conduct preliminary visual inspection after forming.

4. Heat TreatmentPerform heat treatment following nickel alloy fastener process requirements to adjust metallographic structure, stabilize strength and hardness, and relieve residual forming stress.

5. Rough MachiningTurn the shank outer diameter and control the OD dimension, leave allowance for thread machining.

6. Thread Rolling / Thread TurningProduce threads by rolling or turning. Strictly control thread form, tolerance and surface roughness to guarantee accurate thread engagement.

7. Surface TreatmentRemove oil stains, scale and burrs. Apply surface protection as required to prevent oxidation and corrosion during storage and service.

8. Non-Destructive TestingCarry out non-destructive testing as required to detect cracks, inclusions and other defects on head, shank and thread area, and keep inspection records.

9. Final Dimensional InspectionCheck all dimensions including hex across flats, across corners, shank diameter, thread accuracy and overall length, verify item by item against drawings.

10. Marking & StampingStamp specification, material grade, heat number, standard and other information on bolt head, ensure clear and wear-resistant marking.

11. Packaging & WarehousingPack separately by size and protect threads to avoid damage. Attach material certificates and inspection reports, then store in warehouse.
