NXF UNS S20910 XM-19 OD DN6-DN1200 Pressure 3000-9000lb Special Stainless Steel Forging Straight/Reducer Tee
The socket weld tee sleeve is a core forged pipe fitting for industrial high-pressure pipeline systems. Made of stainless steel, the three tee joints are all threadless socket designs. Pipe branching and confluence connections are achieved through socket welding. It is suitable for small-diameter high-pressure pipelines and is widely used in petrochemical, power, food machinery and other scenarios with extremely high requirements for sealing and pressure resistance. It is integrally forged, with a dense structure, reliable sealing and convenient installation.
Machinability
Stainless steel grade UNS S20910 XM-19 has machinability characteristics that are similar to other austenitic stainless
steels;however it requires slower speeds, more power, and higher rigidity due to its high work hardening rate. It is recommended that coated carbide tooling be used.
Forming
Stainless steel grade UNS S20910 XM-19 can be formed using the same methods applied for other austenitic stainless steels. More power for forming and forging is needed for this alloy. Forging can be done at 1177-1204°C (2150-2200°F).
Welding
Welding of stainless steel grade UNS S20910 XM-19 can be performed using traditional joining processes. Recommended filler metal should be UNS S20910 XM-19 (AWS E/ER209).
Caution should be taken while using autogenous, high power density joining processes such as EB or laser welding, due to low FN potential and severe outgassing possibility.
Heat Treatment
Final annealing process performed for several of the applications, is done at 1065°C (1950°F), which is followed by water
quenching. In case this material is used in a strongly corrosive environment, annealing should be done at 1121°C (2050°F). This alloy cannot be hardened by heat treatment.

1. Raw Material Inspection Upon Arrival: Specialized stainless steel round bars/forging billets are selected and their material is tested using spectral analysis to ensure the surface is free of cracks and impurities. Only those meeting the standards are allowed into storage and production.
2. Precision Sawing and Cutting: Billets are cut according to the specifications and pressure standards of socket weld tee sleeves, removing burrs and leaving standard machining allowances.
3. High-Temperature Softening: Billets are heated at a constant temperature in a specialized heating furnace, with strict temperature control to prevent overheating, ensuring the steel reaches its optimal plastic forging state.
4. Die Pressure Forging: Specialized tee forming dies are used for integral forging, ensuring high density and sufficient pressure resistance of the tee sleeve billet.
5. Heat Treatment for Stress Relief: After forging, uniform annealing and solution tempering treatments are performed to eliminate internal forging stress and prevent later cracking and deformation.
6. CNC Precision Machining: The three sockets, sealing steps, and mating faces of the tee are precision machined, ensuring accurate dimensions and smooth interfaces suitable for on-site pipeline installation.
7. Internal and External Polishing and Cleaning: Stainless steel undergoes acid pickling and passivation to remove oxide scale, achieving overall rust and corrosion protection, with a clean surface free of oil and iron filings.
8. Full Inspection and Pressure Testing: Each piece undergoes visual inspection and dimensional re-inspection, combined with high-pressure testing and non-destructive testing to ensure the absence of porosity, sand holes, and hidden cracks.
9. Compliant Protective Packaging: Each tee port is fitted with a dustproof plug, individually film-coated for protection, and sorted for moisture and impact protection.
